Pet Portraits : This pet portrait of a Rottweila was done in pastel for her owner, who won the “Best Dog on the Show” at a fund raising show in Northamptonshire for Maxicare and Animals in Need.

Both Animals in Need and Maxicare do terrific work, either re-homing dogs or rescuing a wide range of animals and birds around Northamptonshire and the surrounding districts. They rely hugely on fundraising events and the good will of people to raise the large amounts of money required to keep the two charities going.
